Our mission is to accelerate groundbreaking research on neuron regeneration to create real-world solutions for anyone dealing with any form of neuron damage or degeneration.
This journey began with a personal story of tragedy, resilience, and hope. Adelaide and Gray are brilliant, precious, hilarious twins who were diagnosed with a devastating neurodegenerative disease called Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).
Though SMA now has treatments available, these treatments do not reverse the damage that occurs before treatment is initiated… leaving thousands like Addie and Gray with severe disability and unmet needs.
Similarly, most neurodegenerative diseases and neuro traumas either have no approved treatments, or treatments that do not fully reverse their ravaging effects.
This realization spurred a mission far greater than we initially imagined… one based on the concept that major breakthroughs in neuron healing and regeneration could potentially help hundreds of millions affected by any form of neuron damage, not just SMA.
