About Leo's Light
Leo is 2.5 years old and is diagnosed with Spastic Paraplegia-52 (SPG52) – an extremely rare neurodegenerative disorder that significantly limits his motor and cognitive development, and over time will rob him of his hard earned skills.
There is currently no treatment.
The only hope for Leo is gene therapy that is currently being developed in Barcelona that is nearing clinical trials.
